“No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV).
It is often said in seasons of trial that “God won’t allow you to be challenged past what you can bear.” While we can take comfort knowing that God promises always to be present in times of trouble, we must anticipate that there will be times in life when we will experience situations or circumstances that are beyond our ability to handle by ourselves. There will even be situations in which as Christians we will face morally confusing choices. God promises to provide morally right solutions if we seek his wisdom and seek to live according to his moral law.
Action: Where are you experiencing hardship? As you anticipate future hardships or difficult choices, pray that God will continue to be present and lead you in following his moral law.
