Mid Rivers Campus General Adult Ministries Director (FT)

General Description

The Mid Rivers Campus is built up by a General Adult Ministries Director who leads Small Groups, Studies & Classes, Men’s & Women’s Ministries & Discipling Ministries with vision and effective strategy. The goal of this position is to empower lay and staff leaders alike to love God, change lives and transform communities through these ministries. General Adult Ministries are characterized by an open-door posture, a value on hospitality and commitment to the Gospel.


The person fulfilling this position will be able to execute the following actions:

  • Soul care - managing work, rest and play in God-glorifying and self-affirming ways.
  • Team care and management - valuing people, committing to development, effectively leading others. We have a preference for one-to-one meetings with direct reports.
  • Internal networking - inclined to promote the welfare of the entire congregation through celebrating and supporting other leaders.
  • Collaborative campus leadership. This person joins the Mid Rivers Campus Pastor with other Team Leads for campus development.
  • Report progress for actions and responsibilities at the end of each quarter

This roles carries the following responsibilities:

  • Learn the RMS system, and utilize both staff and volunteer administrative assistants effectively.
  • Administer the associated budgets.
  • Attend All Staff, Pastoral Staff, Adult Team, and Mid Rivers Team meetings.

General Description

The Mid Rivers Campus is built up by the Office Management Director who leads both Receptionists and Administrative Assistants. The goal of this position is to empower front-door and ministry-support personnel to support the mission of Calvary Church. Office Management includes developing efficient systems and promoting clear communication.

The person fulfilling this position will be able to execute the following actions:

  • Soul care - managing work, rest and play in God-glorifying and self-affirming ways.
  • Team care and management - valuing people, committing to development, effectively leading others. We have a preference for one-to-one meetings with direct reports.
  • Internal networking - inclined to promote the welfare of the entire congregation through celebrating and supporting other leaders.
  • Collaborative campus leadership. This person joins the Mid Rivers Campus Pastor with other Team Leads for campus development.

This roles carries the following responsibilities:

  • Meet with Direct Reports monthly.
  • Develop a professional team of Receptionists and Administrative Assistants.
  • Learn the RMS system, to the point of being able to train others.
  • Deploy volunteers effectively.
  • Administer the associated budgets.
  • Track Time Away for all employees. 
  • Maintain organizational calendars.
  • Schedule Direct Reports and Key Leaders as needed.
  • Work with Directors and Pastors to identify needs, clear responsibilities and efficient office management systems.

**If the person filling this role is applying from within, a number of current tasks may be transferable.

The Mid Rivers Campus is built up by a Missions Director who leads the church to effectively partner in the transformation of homes, city and world. The goal of this position is to develop a network of missions partnerships, some including on-site participation, that effectively involves church members in advancing the Gospel. Missions are characterized by effective leaders, mobilized participants, communicating strategically, and (ultimately) bold sharing of the Gospel.

The person fulfilling this position will be able to execute the following actions:

  • Soul care - managing work, rest and play in God-glorifying and self-affirming ways.
  • Team care and management - valuing people, committing to development, effectively leading others. We have a preference for one-to-one meetings with direct reports.
  • Internal networking - inclined to promote the welfare of the entire congregation through celebrating and supporting other leaders.
  • Collaborative campus leadership. This person joins the Mid Rivers Campus Pastor with other Team Leads for campus development.

  • Shepherd current partnerships and support relationships.
  • Develop new partnerships and network in directions God is moving Calvary.
  • Oversee the associated budgets.
  • Invest in the development of leaders, to the point that leaders develop participants. Key areas may include a prayer team, missions event team, and missions hosting team.
  • Communicate Calvary’s missions involvements effectively.
  • Invite church members to increase participation and commitment in missions.

Facilities Associate Job Description


Overview:

We are looking for a proactive Facilities Associate who is capable of helping us achieve our mission: to be servant leaders creating a welcoming and clean environment for all. 

This position will ensure all publicly accessible areas of the church and property are clean and ready for use. The position involves making minor repairs, changing light bulbs, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing floors, sanitizing surfaces, and restocking items such as toilet paper, paper towels, and other supplies. Associates may assist with preparations for daily use and large events.

Facilities Associates should be observant, respectful, motivated, and committed to providing an orderly place to worship and gather. General knowledge of proper chemical handling and cleaning techniques is preferred but not required.


Role Descriptions: 

  • Reports directly to the Mid Rivers Campus Facilities Director
  • Part-time role (29 hrs max per week). 


Tasks Include: 

  • Be a point of contact for all facility-related issues and concerns.
  • Cooperate with the Facilities Director, Associate Director and Administrative Assistant to effectively and efficiently prepare the facilities for ministry use.
  • Work with the Facilities Team to maintain the facility in good working order. This includes setting rooms up for events and cleaning rooms before and after events.
  • Relate to other team members in a manner that cultivates healthy and collaborative team 


Skills and Character Needed: 

  • Professional skills such as communication, organization, and flexibility. 
  • High commitment level to family, church, staff, and community. 
  • Ability to set reasonable goals for self and team members.
  • Effectively manage time and schedule for the best outcome.
  • Motivation to work independently or with others to provide efficient services.
  • Position Requirements:
  • Custodial experience is a plus however, training will be provided.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adjust their schedule to suit the needs of the church.
