Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill his promises to her! (Luke 1:45)

The belief of Mary anticipates what God is doing and what He is going to do even as she does not understand everything. Mary does not try to make complete sense of all the details, she believes that the Lord will fulfill his promises to her - she anticipates it and prays accordingly. The situation might be frightening and confusing, but Mary knows that God will work it out. She anticipates through her belief, even though she doesn’t have certainty as to the details and the timing. She doesn’t have to understand, she believes - so she anticipates.

Action: Where does your belief anticipate God’s faithfulness? Ask God to grow your belief so you can let go of having to know the details of how He will be faithful.
