Thanksgiving Night of Worship
Worship Center
In the book of Colossians, Paul calls the people of Jesus to let the peace of Christ rule among them, let the word of Christ dwell richly among them, to teach and encourage one another, and to sing together with gratitude. All of these things are done in the name of the Lord Jesus “giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
As Thanksgiving week begins, we will gather to worship, pray, give thanks, and come together around the bread and the cup representing the new life Jesus alone gives.
Before the Thanksgiving table is set in our personal lives, we remember that Thanksgiving is a grace we receive and Communion becomes the church’s true Thanksgiving feast as we remember the gift at the center of every other gift-- Jesus himself.
