Join us February 13-16 at High Hill Christian Camp! This amazing weekend is for 6th-12th grade students at Calvary Church & New City Church - and their friends!
What's in a Winter Retreat? So glad you asked :-) A full weekend of worship and friendship - punctuated by food, games, groups, music, and teaching (and maybe an inflatable or two!).

** Students will need to be dropped off and picked up from High Hill Camp directly.
Students with food allergies will need to bring their own supplemental food, and we'll have a refrigerator and microwave provided for them.

Friday, February 13, drop-off between 7:00-7:45 pm at High Hill Camp Worship Center
Monday, February 17, pick-up between 11:00-11:30 am at High Hill Camp Worship Center
Winter weather is always a risk during this time of year. So, students are NOT permitted to bring a personal vehicle to/from camp. They must ride with a parent, family member, etc. If riding with a leader, our safety standards are: 2+ leaders OR 1 leader and 2+ total students in any vehicle sharing rides. If you have any trouble arranging transportation to and from camp, please contact students@calvary.church ASAP. We'll help!
Friday, February 13, parent drop-off between 7:00-7:45 pm at High Hill Camp Worship Center
- Upon arrival, vehicles will stop at a check-in point to verify that those students are fully paid and registered. Students with medication will also be verified.
- Those with medication will pull their vehicle over to the nurse check-in point to turn them in. Prescription medications must be in their original containers with instruction labels. Non-prescription medicine must be properly labeled or in their original packaging.
- Vehicles interested in parking can ask for directions to the right area AT check-in. Please and thanks!
- Students will then take luggage to the check-in table inside the HH Worship Center, and place it in a designated area according to their cabin assignment. They will take their bags to their cabins after Friday evening activities.
Monday, February 17, pick-up between 11:00-11:30 am at High Hill Camp Worship Center
- Upon arrival, vehicles will stop at a checkpoint to verify which student(s) they are there to pick up. The checkpoint leader will radio ahead to the HH Worship Center.
- Check-out leaders will verify students being picked up as they enter and leave in their pick-up vehicles.
- Students with medication will have their medication returned to them in the HH Worship Center when they arrive for the final session that morning with their luggage.
THINGS TO KNOW
High Hill Rules of Conduct
Please be courteous and remember that there are certain things NOT allowed on our campus. These include the following:
• Pets and other animals, with the exception of licensed, trained service animals (not including ESAs) are not allowed on the campgrounds.
• No food or drink will be allowed in any of the sleeping areas including past the stairs in Nebel Hall or Cedar Lodge, as well as the cabins and dorms.
• No fireworks or weapons of any kind are permitted on the campgrounds.
• No alcoholic beverages or drugs deemed harmful and intended to induce a high are permitted on our grounds.
• The camp has a very firm no smoking policy. If you have anyone in your group who must smoke, please direct them up the drive and outside the gate to do so. Disregarding any of the above is a violation of contract and could result in loss of deposit, additional fees, or dismissal from our grounds.
Calvary Rules of Conduct
- Make High Hill glad we are there. Follow their rules!
- Treat everyone with respect - both leaders and peers.
- Rooms are assigned. Students are expected to manage their excitement, ideas, and impulses with a measure of independence. Supervision is nearby, but not always watching.
- No orbeez guns.
- Phones and tablets will be given boundaries. Generally, we keep personal devices in our rooms during the day. If you need a way to contact your student's leader, please ask! (students@calvary.church)
