Encore Excursions – Pompeii Exhibit at the Science Center

If you’re over 50 and enjoy spending time with others in the same season of life, we’d love for you to join us for our next Encore Excursion!
On Saturday, August 16, we’ll be heading to the St. Louis Science Center to see the Pompeii Exhibit, an immersive experience featuring nearly 150 authentic artifacts, vivid CGI, and a powerful 4-D recreation of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Discover what life was like in the ancient Roman city of Pompeii—and how it was both destroyed and preserved by disaster.
We’ll meet in the church parking lot at 9:30 am to carpool. Lunch will follow the exhibit at a nearby restaurant (location to be determined).
