*NEW CLASS*

Grace and Truth: A Path to Healing and Holiness (3 weeks: Oct 28-Nov 11with Calvary Elders

When the church faces pain and brokenness, the way forward is often unclear and difficult. This 3-week class, led by Calvary elders, invites you into a thoughtful, prayerful space to explore how God’s grace and truth guide us through seasons of grief, repentance, and restoration.

Together, we will reflect on the biblical practice of lament and the importance of bringing our honest emotions before God. We’ll consider the seriousness of sin alongside the depth of God’s mercy, acknowledging both personal and corporate brokenness. Finally, we’ll explore what it means to trust God’s sovereignty as the church seeks renewal and healing.

Through Scripture, conversation, and prayer, this class offers space to wrestle with difficult questions and find hope in God’s steadfast faithfulness.

SESSION 2 (4-5 Week classes beginning October 7): Cost $5.00

Unravelling Your Budget so You Can Unleash Your Generosity (4 weeks: Oct 7-Nov 4, no class Oct 21)
with Mike Zile and weekly guest speakers

The Practice of Generosity can be one of the most challenging habits to develop. With so many demands on our finances, and with the complexity of building a budget that reflects our values, it can feel overwhelming to live out God’s call to be a joyful giver (2 Corinthians 9:7).

In this 4-week roundtable discussion, we’ll hear from six Calvary members who will share their personal journeys with money, budgeting, and generosity. The roundtable format is designed to create a comfortable setting for open conversation and questions. We’ll also provide opportunities to explore practical financial strategies—like budgeting, debt reduction, saving, and giving. Our hope is that through this class, you’ll gain helpful tools for managing your finances and discover more deeply the transformative power of biblical generosity.

Christian Living: Poetry Collective (5 weeks: Oct 7- Nov 4)
with Kyle Bradley

This five-week session will be a time of reading, creating (optional), and discussing poetry as we seek to connect with the heart-places God has given us. We will explore what it looks like to see God through creative writings, worship him through creating, and process ideas and emotions through discussing a variety of poems.

Practicing the Way: Sabbath (5 weeks: Oct 7- Nov 4)
with Dan Borth

This four-week class invites you into the countercultural rhythm of setting aside one day each week to stop, rest, delight, and worship. In a world that runs on busyness and burnout, Sabbath offers the kind of deep rest Jesus called “rest for your souls.” Though it may feel unfamiliar at first, Sabbath creates space for healing, freedom, and renewed connection with God. This class will help you explore Sabbath not just as a day off, but as a way of life modeled by Jesus himself—a weekly invitation to step into God's presence and peace.
