Calvary's adult studies and classes offer an opportunity to connect with God and with one another through a variety of studies and schedules to fit your needs.
Tuesday Evening Studies & Classes for Spring 2026 will begin on January 27. These classes are for men and women and there are no prerequisites for registering for a class. Doors open at 6 PM with classes beginning at 6:30 and finishing at 8 PM. You are welcome to come early for coffee and fellowship.

Join us around the table as we study 2 Samuel and the reign of King David. Together, we’ll explore why Scripture calls David a man after God’s own heart and how a deeply flawed person remained God’s chosen king. Each week we’ll listen to a portion of this Old Testament book and discuss how its lessons apply to our lives today. Previous Bible study may be helpful but is not necessary. This is a low-key, no homework, no preparation study that encourages questions and discussion.

Practicing Our Faith
with weekly guest teachers
Practicing Our Faith is a five-week Christian education class designed to help connect Christian belief with everyday practice. Each week focuses on key articles from the EFCA Statement of Faith and pairs them with deeply formed practices such as Scripture, prayer, Sabbath, community, generosity, and witness. The goal is to move what we understand from information to transformation in a clear, thoughtful, and practical way. There is no homework, and each session stands on its own, so you can come as you are and engage at your own pace.
This class is for anyone who wants to grow in both understanding and practice of the Christian faith. Each week features a different teacher, offering fresh perspectives and practical insights. Sessions include teaching, guided discussion, and simple practice invitations you can try during the week to see real impact in your daily life. Whether you are newer to the Christian faith or have been following Jesus for many years, this class is a low-pressure, hands-on opportunity to deepen your faith, connect with others, and explore how core Christian beliefs can shape the way you live.
SESSION 2: March 3-31
Parenting
with Steve Otey
Join us for a five-week parenting class with guest teacher Steve Otey of Engage Family Ministries. This class will provide practical, Christ-centered insights for raising children with intentionality and faith. Steve brings decades of ministry experience and a heart for helping families grow closer to God and each other. You’ll gain encouragement, biblical principles, and useful tools for everyday parenting in a supportive group setting. All parents are welcome, whether you’re new to parenting or looking for fresh inspiration and support.
