If you’re over 50 and enjoy spending time with others in the same season of life, we’d love for you to join us for our next Encore Excursion!
On Friday, May 8, we’ll visit the historic Daniel Boone Home. We’ll leave Calvary at 9:30 a.m. and spend the morning exploring this beautifully preserved piece of Missouri history. Built in 1800 by Nathaniel Boone, this home was the primary residence of the famous pioneer Daniel Boone for more than a dozen years.
During our visit, you’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the Boone family and Missouri’s territorial era. The 300-acre site also features a “simulated town” with 19th-century buildings relocated from within 50 miles of the park, offering a unique glimpse into frontier life.
After the tour, we’ll enjoy lunch together (location TBD) before heading back, arriving around 2:30 p.m.
The cost is $6.00 per person (lunch not included).
